Pavé biscuit

Pavê is a dessert that Brazilians love and can be made with different types of creams, fruits and even different cookies. The most traditional is the champagne biscuit, but it is possible to prepare the sweet with other biscuits: check out the video and see which types of biscuit to use in the pavé.

Pavé biscuits: which ones to use and differences between them
Champagne biscuit: as we said, it is the most traditional for pavés. On the outside it is crunchy and on the inside it is soft.
Cornstarch or milk biscuits: firmer, they absorb more moisture from the dessert.
Stuffed biscuit: yes! You can use this type of cookie in pavé. It adds more flavor to the recipe, but you need to know how to choose it so that it combines with the other ingredients in the pavé.
It is important to moisten the cookies, with the exception of filled ones, in some liquid, such as milk or chocolate, to bring that delicious moisture to the pavé.
