Corn Cake from Canned Corn


Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can of canned corn without the water (200 grams)
  • 1 can (same can as the corn) of sugar (250 grams)
  • 1 can (same can as the corn) of water (290 ml)
  • 1/2 can (same can as the corn) of oil (140 ml)
  • 1 can (same can as the corn) of cornmeal (185 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon (level) of baking powder (cake baking powder)

Preparation Method:

  1. Gather All Ingredients: Collect all the ingredients you will need.

  2. Blend the Wet Ingredients: In a blender, place the eggs, corn, sugar, and oil. Blend for 5 minutes until smooth.

  3. Mix the Dry Ingredients: Pour the blended mixture into a bowl, add the cornmeal and baking powder. Stir until well combined.

  4. Prepare the Baking Pan: Transfer the mixture to a baking pan greased with oil and dusted with cornmeal.

  5. Bake the Cake: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for about 1 hour and 10-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Serve: Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your meal!
