Pizza Bread Recipe

 

Ingredients for Pizza Bread

For the Dough:

  • 3 whole eggs
  • 100ml oil
  • 50ml milk
  • 1 box of heavy cream (200g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 links grated Calabrese sausage
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 370g grated mozzarella cheese
  • 250g grated ham
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • Oregano to taste

Preparation Method

For the Dough:

  1. In a bowl, combine the eggs, oil, milk, and heavy cream, mixing until smooth.
  2. Add the salt and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring well.
  3. Gradually add the sifted flour to avoid lumps.
  4. Gently fold in the baking powder with a spatula.

For the Assembly:

  1. Grease disposable aluminum trays and spread a thin layer of dough in each one.
  2. Spread tomato sauce over the dough and add your preferred toppings. We suggest Calabrese sausage, onion, mozzarella, and oregano, or ham, mozzarella, tomato, and oregano.
  3. Place the trays on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
  4. Let them cool slightly before enjoying this delicious pizza bread for a snack!
