Chicken Pie with Cream

Ingredients

Filling:

  • Olive oil to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs) cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can of cream

Dough:

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 330 grams (11.6 oz) of mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Filling:

  1. In a pan with olive oil, sauté the onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Add the chicken breast, season with salt, and mix well.
  2. Add the corn and cream, mix, and set aside.

Dough:

  1. In a blender, blend the eggs, milk, oil, chicken bouillon cube, salt, flour, and baking powder until smooth.
  2. Pour half of the batter into a springform pan, cover with the filling, and add the mozzarella cheese. Cover with the remaining batter.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.
